Two men arrested after Point Cook shooting

Two men have been arrested following a shooting that left a man with life-threatening injuries in Point Cook on Thursday night.

The shooting took place on Spraypoint Drive just before 11pm.

Police have been told that the victim, a 53-year-old Sydney man, was shot by an unknown offender who fled the scene.

The victim remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A 29-year-old Point Cook man was arrested in Nagambie and a 30-year-old Point Cook man was arrested in Point Cook this morning.

Homicide Squad detectives are investigating and both men are assisting police with their enquiries.
