Free outdoor movie
Enjoy a free outdoor movie night featuring family favourite, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, on December 8 in the playground behind The Grove Sales and Information Centre, 180 Davis Road, Tarneit. The fun runs from 7-10pm and will include a visit by Santa and one of his elves, face-painting, a community-run barbecue, and a lucky dip for kids ahead of the sunset screening. There will also be free coffee and popcorn.

Change of preference expo
Victoria University will hold a Change of Preference Expo on December 17 from 3-6pm at its Footscray Park campus, Ballarat Road, Footscray. The expo will feature information about scholarships, ways to get involved outside the classroom, and free food and coffee.

Lung support group
Western Breathers for Life welcomes anyone with breathing difficulties due to lung disease to come along for a cuppa, chat and support. The group meets at the Kelly Park Community Centre, Synnot Street, Werribee on the second Friday of every month from 10am-noon.
