Ladies, would you know what to do if your car broke down and your phone didn’t work?
The Hopper Motor Group will be teaching just that at its upcoming Women on Wheels workshop, a free event aimed at schooling women on basic car maintenance.
Hopper Motor Group director Joanne Hopper said the workshop was all about demystifying common car problems.
“We are super keen for women to feel safe and competent in the event of an emergency with their car, especially in the event they have no phone access,” she said.
“We’ve put feelers out to driving instructors also in the hope to encourage mothers and daughters to come along, especially new licence holders or soon-to-be licence holders.”
Ms Hopper said the workshop was the first in a number of upcoming Women on Wheels events.
The workshop will be held on November 16 from 6.30-8.30pm at Werribee Kia, 187-189 Old Geelong Road, Hoppers Crossing.
