Every dog will have its day, every cat will have its way and every bird will be heard during Wyndham council’s Pet and Animal Expo this weekend.

Ally Gatt and canine companion Hunter are looking forward to the free event, which will be held on Sunday from 10am to 3pm in the grounds of the Wyndham Civic Centre.

The Cat Hub will feature exotic breeds and the Dog Arena will come to life with agility and obedience demonstrations, a working dog show and aerial displays from the Flipping Disc Dogz.

Native wildlife will also be in the spotlight, thanks to The Rookeepers Wildlife Show and a birds of prey display.

Attendees will be able to chat to Wyndham council’s animal management team and book in for microchipping with the Lost Dogs Home.

Well-behaved, socialised pets are welcome to attend the expo, but must be kept on leads.
