Truganina boy charged following CBD death

Homicide Squad detectives have charged a Truganina teenager, following the death of a young woman in the CBD on Saturday.

The 16-year-old Truganina boy has been charged with being an accessory to murder and assault.

Earlier this week, a 17-year-old Sunshine North boy was charged with murder following the death of the woman.

Police were called to an address on A’Beckett Street in Melbourne, following reports of a woman suffering serious injuries about 5.15am.

Paramedics attended, however 19-year-old Laa Chol died at the scene.

The 16-year-old from Truganina has been remanded to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
