The Wyndham Business and Tourism Association (WBTA) is calling on locals to frock up and have a ball at their latest fundraising extravanganza.
Enjoy dinner, drinks and a charity auction, all while being serenaded by swing band The Pearly Shells at the WBTA’s annual Winter Wonderland Ball, which will be held at The Refectory at Werribee Mansion on Saturday, July 14.
Money raised from the auction will go towards the Cousins Crusade Appeal set up to support three children from Wyndham’s Tantaro family who were all born with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a hereditary – and fatal – condition that causes muscle wastage, breathing difficulties and heart problems.
The money will be used to fund overseas treatments not available in Australia.
