A very sleek operation

A business that started in a garage has grown into a one-stop shop for printing services.

Sanctuary Lakes duo Lisa and Sam Soliman run Sleek Print Management, which delivers digital and offset printing services and graphic design.

Sam, who has been in the printing industry for 24 years, set up Sleek Print Management in their garage seven years ago when the company he worked for changed hands.

Within four years, the business grew too big to run from their home, so they moved it to a Werribee warehouse.

“We take pride in what we do,” Sam said. “Work is always in the back of your head. We don’t stop. We work Saturdays, Sundays if we have to, to make sure we deliver to the client.”

Lisa added: “It was scary, going from a secure, paid job to going out on your own, but Sam’s got a great reputation and a lot of clients followed him, which was fantastic.”

Sam said the business received many new clients through referrals.

This year, the Solimans have thrown their hat in the ring in the manufacturing category of the Wyndham Business Awards.

Star Weekly is a media partner of the awards.

Entries have closed, but residents can vote for their favourite Wyndham business in the people’s choice award until June 29.
