Morning tea

The Werribee RSL Women’s Group will be hosting a Homy Peds Shoes morning tea on April 20 from 10am at the Werribee RSL on Synnot Street in Werribee. Come and see a wide selection of styles for winter, and pick up a bargain. Entry is $5, with morning tea supplied and raffle prizes to be won. All welcome.

Lymphoedema support group

The Western Suburbs Lymphoedema Support Group meets on the first Monday of every month at IPC Health, 117 Warringa Crescent, Hoppers Crossing from 10.30am-noon. The next meeting will be on May 7. The group provides support in ways that may help sufferers cope with what can, at times, be a debilitating condition. New members are welcome.

Planting day

Friends of Cobbledicks Ford will host a planting day on Thursday, May 17 from 10am-12.30pm. Bring along a hat, gloves, sunscreen, water bottle, a small spade or trowel and suitable footwear.

Join Probus

Looking for something to do? The Werribee Probus Club offers activities to retired or semi-retired men to partly fill the void left by retirement. Activities include day trips and tours, social activities and lawn bowls tournaments. The club also has an association with the B54 Bomber restoration group in Werribee if you are so inclined. Probus meets on the fourth Monday of the month, except in May and December, at the Werribee Bowls Club.
