You heard it on the grapevine: Shadowfax Winery will be an exhibitor at the upcoming Fromage a Trois Cheese Festival at Werribee Park.
The festival, to be held on Sunday, April 8, will also feature roving performers, lawn games and live music.
Shadowfax general manager Phil Strachan said the winery was excited to be taking part in the festival.
“It’s one of our favourite events of the year where we have the opportunity to chat in person with our customers, match the awesome range of cheeses on offer with our wines, and sneak off at some point in the day to steal, we mean savour, some samples,” he said.
“We’ll be showcasing our latest releases, which include a delicious 2017 pinot gris from Macedon, an equally sumptuous 2017 chardonnay from Macedon and an impressive 2017 Geelong pinot noir, which is difficult to stop at just one glass.”
Mr Strachan described Fromage a Trois as “one of Werribee’s must-attend events”.
“What’s not to love about cheese and wine and a giant gourmet picnic?” he said.
“Some really impressive exhibitors will be here including cheesemongers, winemakers, brewers and entertainers.”
