Police have appealed for public assistance to locate registered sex offender Barry Dettman.
The 51-year-old has failed to notify police of his current residential address, which is part of his reporting obligations.
Police believe that Dettman may be frequenting the Bendigo and Werribee areas.
Police have released an image of Dettman in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information about his whereabouts.
He is described as being Caucasian in appearance,with blue eyes, short grey hair and 175cm tall with a slim build.
Anyone who sights Dettman is urged to contact triple zero (000) immediately.
