Clicking and capturing images: Amateur photographers of all ages and abilities are invited to take part in a photo competition that celebrates Wyndham.
The contest, which is free to enter, is being hosted by The Grange Community Centre in Hoppers Crossing and sponsored by Arts Assist.
The Wyndham Your Community contest asks entrants to showcase the municipality’s beauty, culture and diversity.
Selected entrants will have their photographs shown in an exhibition at the community centre in May.
Prizes will be awarded at the exhibition and a people’s choice award winner declared. The competition’s first prize will be $500, second prize $300 and third prize $150. The people’s choice winner will receive $200.
Photographs can be submitted in either black and white or colour.
Each entrant must submit no more than three entries and photographs must have been taken after January 1 last year.
Submissions will be accepted until Monday, April 23, at 5pm.
