Little River Art Exhibition

Check out the work of local and surrounding artists at Little River Mechanics Hall, Rothwell Road, Little River, on November 18 from 10am-4pm and November 19 from 10am-2.30pm. There will be art pieces available for sale during the exhibition. Entry is a gold coin donation.

The 2017-18 Night Market returns to the Queen Victoria Market and will run every Wednesday until April 11. Enjoy more than 60 global street food stalls and festival bars; more than 130 artisan fashion, homewares and general merchandise traders plus a rotating line-up of live music and entertainment.

St Andrew’s parish fair

Enjoy an entertaining day out for the whole family at the St Andrew’s parish fair on November 18 from 10am-7pm, 110 Greaves Street, Werribee.

Food, drinks, rides, entertainment, a variety of stalls, spinning wheel, cake stall, book stall and plant stall are all on offer. This is a free event. Many raffles to support, with the major raffle prize of a Holden Barina drawn at the close of the fair. No dogs allowed.

The Brotherhood of St Laurence has an op-shop at 19 Elm Park Drive, Hoppers Crossing, and has a great mix of second-hand goods including clothing, shoes, bric-a-brac, electrical, books and furniture. It also accepts donations at the store. Open Monday to Sunday from 9.30am-5pm, closed on public holidays.
