Indoor-outdoor beauty: 4 Nuragi Court, Werribee, 3030

With a large park and playground at the end of the street, a shopping strip around the corner and Werribee River walking trails a five-minute amble away, this beautifully presented residence on about 565-square-metres is designed for family pleasure.

The fab outdoor area is a headline act here, but first the house. The decor is light and bright, with white wall paint all through and a mix of pine floorboards and slate tiles, with latte or mocha textured rollerblinds on all windows.

Flanking the slate-tiled entry hall are the main bedroom and an L-shaped lounge-dining room with a gas log fire set into a stacked-stone breast.

Each of the three bedrooms has floorboards and mirrored wardrobes; the main also has an en suite with a moulded white vanity and royal blue splashback.

Next to a laundry with closet, the glossy main bathroom has latte wall tiles and a heat lamp.

The skylit slate-floored kitchen, abutting a meals zone, has heaps of cupboards in mushroom-coloured laminate, mocha and white splashback tiles, wine racks, an electric cooktop, underbench oven and dishwasher.

A big deck under a gabled pergola has steps down to grey-coloured concrete, bordered with pebbled garden beds planted with a magnolia tree and giant yuccas. A second covered area, beautified with tropical plants, is another relaxation spot.

All of this links with a glass-fenced deck with a salt-chlorinated spa enhanced with palms and other tropical plants.

A massive shed, with two rollerdoors and glass sliders to the spa area, is set up as a great man-cave; it has a snazzy kitchen with clothes dryer, a bathroom, wood heater and split-system.

A water tank and a garden shed with power connection are tidily tucked away – everything here is as neat as a pin.

The property has ducted heating, an air-conditioner and a remote-controlled drive-through double garage.
