Hoppers hot spot: 17 Honeysuckle Place, Hoppers Crossing, 3029

Fronted by a romantic picket fence and manicured gardens, this residence – on about 650 square metres – is right in the thick of things, yet tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac. An early childhood centre is around the corner, Bellbridge Primary School is within a three-minute drive and Pacific Werribee five. Adding further cachet, it’s also in Wyndham’s greatest capital growth suburb.

Entry is to an off-white tiled walkway, which heads past an open, carpeted lounge room with ceiling bulkhead treatment, then through an in-wall slider to the living hub. This is divided into tiled kitchen and meals zone (with ceiling fan) and a blue-grey carpeted family sitting area. The latter again has a ceiling bulkhead treatment adding architectural interest, as well as a bay window dressed in white roller blinds.

The kitchen has white cabinetry topped with powder-blue laminate, a two-door pantry, a wall oven with concealed microwave nook above, a gas cooktop and a dishwasher. The laundry, with closet, is off the family room.

The spacious main bedroom, off the entry walkway, has an elegantly dressed bay window and a ceiling fan. Behind mirrored sliders, there’s a walk-in wardrobe and a powder-blue and white en suite with
heat lamp.

Off the living hub, a powder-blue carpeted hallway leads to two bedrooms, each with built-in wardrobes. The bathroom along here, decked out in blue and white, has a glass-brick feature. The toilet is separate.

Ducted heating and an air-conditioner provide indoor climate control, and there’s an alarm.

The alfresco area, with grey stamped-concrete, is entirely enclosed
with quality shadecloth, making it a great spot for Aussie summers. It has a cute
door to the backyard, which has a good wedge of lawn rimmed with basic landscaping and there’s a garden shed in
a corner.

Behind gates from the side street, there’s a large parking area for caravan, boat or trailer, and the remote-controlled double garage has a back roller door.
