Children and staff from a Hoppers Crossing family day care service celebrated a bear-y special event earlier this month. VIP Family Day Care held a teddy bear’s picnic as part of this year’s National Family Day Care Week. The national initiative aims to recognise the estimated 212,820 children enrolled in family day care across Australia, along with the important role in which family day care plays in children’s lives. Family Day Care Australia’s chief executive Andrew Paterson said the week also gave services, educators and families an opportunity to come together.
