Everything’s coming up roses in Werribee

There’s never been a better time to stop and smell the roses.

Thousands of people are expected to flock to Werribee’s Victorian State Rose Garden on November 19 and 20 for the fourth annual State Rose and Garden Show, which will feature plant care demonstrations, guided tours of the park and refreshments in the shade of the garden’s grand pine trees.

Rose experts and TV gardeners – including Channel Nine’s Kim Syrus, SBS plant and produce guru Vasili Kanidiadis and Gardening Australia’s Costa Georgiadis – will be on hand at the free event to give green thumbs their top tips.

Claudia Siebel and Sascha Irving (pictured) took time out last week to enjoy the blooms.
