Wyndham Rotary Club donates $10,000 to Royal Children’s Hospital

Wyndham Rotary Club raised $10,000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal through this year’s Easter egg hunt at Werribee Park Mansion.

Every Good Friday, Cadbury donates 200,000 Easter eggs for the Easter egg hunt at Werribee Park. About 6000 tickets were sold within 40 minutes of going on sale and the club presented a $10,000 cheque to the hospital on Channel 7.

The club provided 72 volunteers, including  its members, family and friends of Rotarians and our students from Manor Lakes Interact Club. Cadbury employees were also among volunteers for the day.

Volunteers donated their time for duties such as car parking, handing out Easter baskets and throwing chocolate eggs to the children “in the pens”.

Cadbury and Wyndham Rotary support the hospital each year.
