Police investigate secret lab at Werribee South home

A man has been arrested following the discovery of a clan lab in Werribee South yesterday morning.

Police remain at the scene of a residential property at Duncans Road. A clan lab is where chemistry is carried out in secret, often in relation to illegal drug laboratories.

A 53-year-old Sunshine man was arrested at 7.30pm last night and remains in police custody.

A spokeswoman for Victoria police said he is assisting police with their enquiries.

The investigation is ongoing.
