The summer of tennis has come to an exciting end for the clubs in the Western Region Tennis Association.
Thirteen grand finals were held across the west, Yarraville and Altona the most successful clubs with three flags apiece.
Werribee did not miss out on the party, taking out the section 1 mixed grand final after an upset win over minor premiers Williamstown Central.
The winning team comprised Darren Flaherty, Paul Rowan, Daryl Smith, Jacque Sacdpraseuth, Deanne Kirkpatrick and Janine Wright.
With the summer season in the rear view mirror, teams are already planning ahead for the winter competition.
