Kids can try their hand at golf during a free beginners clinic in Sunbury as part of Goonawarra Golf Club’s junior holiday program. Golf instructor Carol Leaney will conduct a two-day junior golf event on September 27 and 28. “The day begins with a one-hour clinic session followed by a nine-hole fun competition,” Ms Leaney says. “This activity caters for all skill levels, including beginners. There’s plenty planned and special prizes will be awarded to all those who compete.” The program is structured to ensure children learn golf in a fun, safe and relaxed atmosphere.
