Ganesh Festival

Enjoy market stalls, amusement rides, great food, music and dance on September 11 from 11am-7pm as part of the Ganesh Festival. The festival will be held at Werribee Racecourse, 2-10 Bulban Road, Werribee.

Cook like a celebrity chef

My Kitchen Rules alumni chef Lee Chan will be cooking up a storm on the BBQ on September 10 and 11 between 11am-3pm to help celebrate the new offering at the refurbished Hoppers Crossing Shopping Centre.

Pet expo

Hundreds of pets and their human friends will descend on the Wyndham Civic Centre, 45 Princes Highway, Werribee, from 10am-4pm on September 11 for the annual Wyndham Pet and Animal Expo. Pet owners can take advantage of discount microchipping and free registration, while industry experts will be on hand to offer tips. The free event will also include a petting zoo, reptile displays and live entertainment.

Fete

Heathglen Retirement Village, 2 Glendale Court, Werribee, is hosting its annual fete on September 10 from 10am-2pm. There will be stalls selling plants, cakes, crafts, devonshire tea and a sausage sizzle.

Back to school

Former and current students and staff of Werribee High School/Werribee Secondary College are invited to the school’s 60-year reunion, which will be held on October 15 from noon-4pm. The event will be held on campus, Duncans Road, Werribee. RSVP by October 1.

Probus Club is calling

The Combined Probus Club of Wyndham is fun, fellowship and friendship for adults who are retired or semi-retired. The club meets on the second Tuesday of the month at Kelly Park Community Centre, Werribee, from 1.30-3pm. If you like walking, dining, cycling and outings, come to a meeting.
