Market with the lot

The next lifestyle and produce market will be held from 9am on July 6 at the Italian Sports Club, Sala Roma Room, 601 Heaths Road, Werribee. Stalls include arts and crafts, fresh produce, plants, flowers and food.

Fair with face-painting

Come down to the Jamieson Way Community Centre, 59 Jamieson Way, Point Cook, from 10am-2pm on July 3 and find stalls including crafts, jewellery, candles and food. There will also be free face-painting.

Probus spreads its wings

Werribee Probus Club needs new male members, retired or semi-retired, who’d like to fill some of their spare time. Probus organises weekday bowls, special lunches, theatre nights, day tours, wine tastings, professional speakers for monthly meetings [fourth Monday of each month], as well as offering involvement in the B24 bomber restoration and Werribee Men’s Shed.

Sunrise support

The Sunrise Women’s Group supports women between 18 and 65 living with a disability and/or mental health condition. The group meets fortnightly on a Monday at the Iramoo Community Centre, Wyndham Vale, from 10.30am-2pm.

Winter show for orchid lovers

Werribee Orchid Club’s show will be open to the public from 9am-4pm on July 23 and 9am-3pm on July 24 at the Italian Sports Club of Werribee, 601 Heaths Road, Werribee.

CBD to come alive

A weekend festival, called simply Winter, will transform Werribee’s CBD on July 1 and 2. The festival, co-hosted by Wyndham Business and Tourism Association and Wyndham council, will feature street performers Born in a Taxi, acrobatic group Strange Fruit, family movies and evening arts experiences.
