A 15-year-old has been charged with murder following the death of Wyndham Vale teenager Bless Mulukwat Akoch.
Police and emergency services were called to Eagle Stadium in Werribee about 5.50pm on Friday.
Bless, 17, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died.
A Wyndham Vale teenager who was assisting police with their inquiries on Saturday and later released has now been charged with murder.
The boy was arrested in Wyndham Vale this afternoon and is expected to appear in a children’s court this afternoon.
