Three arrested in St Albans

Police arrested three men in St Albans last week in connection to an ongoing investigation into anti-social behaviour.

Six warrants were executed on January 30, with police seizing a quantity of drugs, weapons, ammunition and stolen goods.

The warrants were executed at Briggs Street, St Albans, as part of Operation Cataclysm, which is targeting anti-social behaviour.

A 22-year-old Hillside man was arrested in relation to two outstanding warrants for robbery and other matters. He was bailed to appear at the Sunshine Magistrates Court on March 13.

A 31-year-old St Albans man was charged with possession of a drug of dependence and handling stolen goods. He has been bailed to appear at the Sunshine Magistrates Court on March 6.

A 62-year-old St Albans man was charged with possessing a drug of dependence, possessing ammunition and possessing prohibited weapon. He appeared at the Sunshine Magistrates Court last week.

Meanwhile, police have arrested two teenagers following an alleged robbery and assault at Sunshine railway station on January 25.

A 17-year-old Tarneit girl has been charged with robbery, recklessly causing injury, unlawful assault and bail-related offences. A 16-year-old Kings Park girl has been arrested and charged with robbery, recklessly causing injury and unlawful assault.
