VTCA: Seabrook Saints slump

SEABROOK has lost for the first time this calendar year in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association west B1.

The Saints’ winning streak was stopped at two in a heavy 129-run defeat to Footscray ANA at Angliss Reserve on Saturday.

ANA was always perched in the box seat once it amassed 309 on the first day.

The Saints were never in the hunt, making just 180 in the chase as their ever-so-slim finals chances evaporated before their eyes.
