It’s time to rug up and pull on a beanie – winter is coming to Werribee in style.
A weekend festival, called simply ‘Winter’, will transform Werribee’s CBD on July 1 and 2.
The festival, co-hosted by the Wyndham Business and Tourism Association and Wyndham council, will feature street performers Born in a Taxi, acrobatic group Strange Fruit, family movies and evening arts experiences.
Tonia Tribe, of the tourism association, says: “It’s about celebrating Werribee. Winter’s probably my favourite time of year … I thought it would be really lovely to get people out and about and experience the main streets of Werribee.”
