Plasma donors needed

The Werribee Blood Donor Centre needs 500 more people to donate plasma in the next four weeks to help thousands of Australians enjoy an improved quality of life. Plasma can be used in 18 different life-giving ways, and with demand for this powerful component of blood growing rapidly every year, donations are always needed.

Wyndham multifaith dinner

The Wyndham Interfaith Network will host the 2018 Wyndham Multifaith Dinner on November 7 from 6.15pm at Encore Events Centre, 80 Derrimut Road, Hoppers Crossing. Tickets are $20 per person. This is an alcohol free event. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander musician Jessie Lloyd will provide the key note address on the night.

Children’s Week picnic

Werribee Craft Festival

The Werribee Craft Festival will celebrate its 40th year with its biggest event yet. More than 100 stalls will showcase handmade, unique and high-quality goods, and there will be food stalls and children’s activities. Halloween in Manor Lakes

It will be Nightmare on Dalrymple Boulevard, Manor Lakes, this Halloween when the street’s residents pull out all stops in a spooky street party on October 31 from 5-10pm. There will be gory displays, treats for trick-or-treaters, face-painting, a pizza food truck, coffee van and a photographer on hand to capture people in their spookiest get-ups.
