Truganina plan is all business

Stockland and Mount Atkinson Holdings have announced plans to develop a 260-hectare business park on Hopkins Road in Truganina.

Construction of the proposed first stage of the Melbourne Business Park – which is set to comprise 87 hectares – is expected to start this year. The business park will be located near Stockland’s Mount Atkinson estate, which is under development.

Stockland says the business park will provide thousands of jobs.

The company’s general manager of workplace and logistics, Tony D’Addona said the site would deliver “significant owner-occupier and pre-commitment opportunities for local, national and international businesses on a large scale”.

“The logistics market in Melbourne’s west continues to experience strong demand and limited supply,” he said.

“Future tenants at the new business park will benefit from access to a growing population and the excellent amenity being delivered within the adjacent town centre.”
