Ballan Holden has celebrated 21 years as a major sponsor of the Werribee Football Club.

The Werribee car dealership hosted an event to mark the occasion last month. Werribee FC’s chief executive Mark Penaluna said that he was pleased Ballan Holden would continue to support the club this year.

“We are a unique partnership that is driven by loyalty and a shared passion for success on and off the field,” he said.

The club’s president Martin Carter said that Ballan Holden’s support for Werribee FC, both in the past and present, was significant to the club.

“Twenty-one successive years as major sponsor of a premier second tier football competition team is unparalleled and l doubt it will ever be surpassed,” he said.

“The relationship is one of friendship rather than sponsorship and both organisations share similar values – community, care and driven.”

Tino Ballan, who established Ballan Holden in 1978 with his two brothers, said that it was an honour and a privilege to support the local sporting community.

“My wife Robyn and I and all the Ballan family and staff are very happy to be part of this great club,” Mr Ballan said.
