In gouda news for food lovers, the Fromage a Trois Cheese Festival will return to Werribee Park this year.

The festival, to be held on Sunday, April 8, will be more than merely cheerfully cheezy – it will also feature roving performers, lawn games and live music.

Wyndham tourism and major events portfolio holder John Gibbons said the festival would showcase delicious local produce in the grounds of Werribee Mansion.

“Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the makers and sample artisan cheeses, craft ciders, refreshing ales and exemplary wines – all in one picturesque outdoor setting,”
Cr Gibbons said.

“Cheese lovers will also have the chance to learn tips and tricks from renowned cheesemongers and experts as you sample your way around the festival.”

Limited early bird tickets to the festival, which cost $37.26, are available at eventbrite.com.au.

The ticket price includes entry, samples and a festival glass to keep.

Entry is free for children aged 14 and under when they enter with a full-paying adult.

Attendees can add a Richmond Hill Café & Larder hamper to their ticket order for between $9 to $66.

All pre-sold hamper purchasers will go in the draw to win one of five $50 vouchers to spend at Richmond Hill Cheese & Larder.
