With stage four pandemic restrictions in place across Melbourne, there are only four reasons to leave home: shopping for food and essential items, medical care and caregiving, exercise, and work or study (if you cannot work or study from home).

A curfew is in operation in Melbourne from 8pm to 5am every evening. The only reasons to leave home during these hours is for permitted work, essential health, care and safety reasons.
