Loren Bartley says that when she first started recording podcasts in her walk-in wardrobe six years ago, she wished there was a recording studio in Wyndham that she could use.

Ms Bartley is the owner of Business Addicts Coworking in Hoppers Crossing and a digital marketing agency.

She is also co-host and producer of Business Addicts The Podcast, which began in 2015.

Her dreams for a Wyndham-based recording studio have finally come true after opening a professional recording studio at Business Addicts Coworking.

The new studio was partially funded by a $10,000 grant from Wyndham council’s Small Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation Fund.

Ms Bartley said that Business Addicts Coworking has received a lot of inquiries from local businesses requesting a soundproof recording studio.

“We had access to all the equipment, but we didn’t have a purpose-built soundproof space, so we were previously unable to fulfill that need,” she said.

“Having a professional studio like this will assist businesses in improving the quality of their marketing and digital product delivery.

“We expect the space to be very popular amongst small businesses looking to create content for their online training course, membership programs and other instructional videos.”

Ms Bartley said the recording studio was also suited to other podcasters, YouTubers and content creators.

“It’s going to be great for local businesses and at the same time help generate a new revenue stream for Business Addicts Coworking as we try to recover from what has been an incredibly tough couple of years due to business closures,” she said.
