The opening of a new manufacturer in Truganina is expected to create 100 jobs.

Ticket, tag and label manufacturer TMA Group has announced that it will relocate its main ticket operations from New South Wales to Truganina.

The new production, design and logistics centre at Truganina is expected to create 100 jobs by 2022.

TMA produces stock for companies including Ticketmaster, Ticketek, Qantas, Westfield, Coles and Australia Post and specialises in state-of-the-art security features such as holographic foils, trust seals and invisible fluorescent inks.

The company also creates ticket apps, software and machinery for a range of industries across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific.

Minister for Jobs, Innovation and Trade Martin Pakula said: “TMA is an Australian success story and now with the establishment of its new operations in Victoria, the company can be expected to continue to grow and provide more jobs for local people.”

Tarneit MP Sarah Connolly said: “This is a significant win for Melbourne’s west – a forward-thinking company seeing the opportunities that this region can offer and making the choice to become part of our community.”
