A $10.9 million upgrade has been opened at Manor Lakes P-12 College.

Werribee MP Tim Pallas last month inspected the upgrade, which includes a new Health Hub and Secondary Centre to provide teaching, IT and staff work spaces, breakout spaces for students, a new canteen, new toilet blocks and changerooms.

During his visit, Mr Pallas announced $660,000 in maintenance funding for Thomas Chirnside Primary School and Werribee Primary School.

Thomas Chirnside will receive $317,000 to address urgent toilet repairs and to allow the construction of a new playground.

Werribee Primary School will receive $346,000 for urgent toilet repairs. “

We know students get the most out of their education when they have safe, modern classrooms to learn in, and first-rate facilities the school community can feel proud of,” Mr Pallas said.

“The Labor government is investing $515 million in our state schools to ensure Werribee students can attend a great local school and get a great education.”

Tarneit MP Sarah Connolly also announced that Kane Constructions Pty Ltd has been appointed to construct Truganina South East Primary School, in Dohertys Road, Truganina. The school is one of 14 across the state that are scheduled to open in 2021.

“Truganina South East Primary School is yet another great example of the school building boom that is happening right across Victoria,” Ms Connolly said.

“Students in Truganina will soon get to attend a brand new school with first-class facilities.”
