Ramona Borg is a personal stylist and style coach. She grew up in Locarno, a small city in the Italian part of Switzerland about an hour north of Milan, and can speak five languages – Italian, English, French, German and Spanish. She now lives in Point Cook, with her husband and her two young sons.

What do you enjoy most about living in Point Cook?

I love the community spirit, my friends and the people who live there. I can’t deny that sometimes it’s hard, as all my family is in Switzerland. I also love this area because it’s close to the city. It’s great to be here now that Pacific Werribee has expanded. I call it my second office because I am there all the time for shopping trips with my clients.

Do you have any favourite restaurants or places in Wyndham?

I love the Coast Cafe in Saltwater Coast and Alamanda Cafe. Both have good coffee, great food and a friendly atmosphere. I love the Crocodile Park for the kids, especially in the summer.

Is there anything you would like to change about the area?

I think it would be good to have a few more secondary schools and a police station, which seem to be missing in Point Cook.

Through your business, do you meet many women from culturally diverse backgrounds who live in Wyndham?

Yes. My mission is to empower, inspire and uplift every woman to look good and feel great every day irrespective of their background. Whether a stay-at-home mum, career or professional, I truly believe that every woman has the right to have a good level of self-esteem and to feel confident about themselves by the way they dress.  As a personal stylist, my ultimate goal is to help my clients redefine their personal style and image by making it a fun, enjoyable and rewarding experience, and learning valuable shopping skills and understanding the importance of placing value on their image by putting it in to practise effortlessly in everyday life.
