A man has died in Laverton North this morning after his car collided with a truck head-on.
Police said the car and truck collided on Dohertys Road, west of Cherry Lane, just after 8.50am.
The car subsequently caught fire, and the man died at the scene.
The truck driver was not injured.
Police are investigating the exact circumstances.
