Michele Karakasch is among the creatives whose work will be on display during the upcoming annual Little River Art Exhibition.

The event be held on Saturday, January 29 from 10am-4pm and Sunday, January 30 from 10am-2pm.

A Little River local, Karakasch said she has participated in the exhibition since its inception some years ago.

She also helps to organise the exhibition, which will feature artists from Little River, Wyndham and the Geelong area.

“The aim of the exhibition is to promote the work of local and regional artists in the district and to encourage emerging artists in the community,” Ms Karakasch said.

“We have already, over past years, seen some exceptional artwork and believe this year’s exhibition will not disappoint in the quality of work on display.”

Ms Karakasch said she has been part of the Geelong art group for many years.

“It was very exciting when the Little River Mechanics Institute agreed to the formation of the Little River Art Show, which has been a successful event year after year,” she added.

“The opportunity for artists like myself to display their work to the community is an encouragement to our dedication as artists.

“I invite and encourage the community to visit the exhibition this year, we have had the past two years in COVID limbo, so come and enjoy our work.”

The Little River Art Exhibition 2022 will be held at the Mechanics Hall, Rothwell Road, Little River.
