Police released images of two men they are hoping to identify following the theft of three distinctive cars from Laverton North earlier this month.

Investigators believe the men gained entry to the Hume Drive vehicle storage yard between 8 and 11pm on June 4.

Once inside, the men stole three vehicles:

• a black 2009 Nissan 370Z Coupe with no registration:

• a grey 1970 Holden ute with registration 1BG1AB, and

• a red 1993 Nissan 300zx with registration ZED93

Investigators have released CCTV stills of two men who they believe can assist with their inquiries.

Both men were perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, with thin to medium builds. One of the males has a beard, and both are aged between 18 to 25 years old.

It is believed the men used a white Holden Commodore and a blue trailer to remove the cars.

Investigators have also released images of the vehicles in the hope that someone may be able to provide information on their current whereabouts.

Anyone who recognises the men or has any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at crimestoppervic.com.au.
