Police hunt man following Tarneit aggravated burglary

Police wish to speak to this man.

Police are investigating an aggravated burglary at a Tarneit home earlier this year.

Detectives have been told two men knocked on the front door of a Ceratta Crescent home about noon on June 23. With no response, the men gained entry to the home via the garage.

The occupant, a 26-year-old woman, heard a banging noise on the inner door and assuming it was a housemate has opened it. The two men then fled.

The woman later walked to a nearby service station on the corner of Derrimut Road and Leakes Road, Tarneit and saw one of the men enter the store.

The woman called triple zero and the man left the store.

Police have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
