Werribee Hockey Club will host a virtual donation Pink Day on the weekend to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Network Australia.

The club will hold the day on Saturday, May 9, in place of its usual Pink Sports Day.

The hockey club’s Women’s Coordinator, Lesley Mclaughlin, said everyone was welcome to donate.

The BCNA has asked members of the hockey club, and their families, to complete a virtual isolation challenge to help raise funds.

The challenges can be to run five kilometres on Strava/Fitness App/Treadmill, or to complete the TiK ToK dance challenge on May 9, to raise awareness for breast cancer and support the network.

The BCNA is a national breast cancer consumer organisation. For the past 22 years, the network has worked ensure that all Australians who are affected by breast cancer receive the very best care, treatment and support.
