Five teens charged after Werribee robbery

Police have charged five teenagers following an alleged robbery at a fast-food outlet in Werribee, which occurred on July 31.
The alleged incident, which occurred at a fast-food outlet located at a Werribee shopping centre, involved a mobile phone allegedly being stolen from a 17-year-old boy.
Since July, police have arrested seven teenagers and charged five with robbery, with the latest arrest occurring on Monday.
Those changed included two 15-year-old boys, one from Laverton and one from Tarneit.
Two 13-year-old boys, both from Hoppers Crossing, have also been charged, along with a 14-year-old Williams Landing boy.
Two girls, aged 14 and 17, have been released pending further inquiries.
Those arrested have been bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
