A touch of magic has arrived at the Quantin Binnah Community Centre.
The Werribee centre is hosting Fairy Tales storytimes every Friday.
The sessions, aimed at children aged from two to five years, feature the centre’s community development officer and “fairy” storyteller Rebecca Tucker.
The Fairy Tales sessions include activities for the children and morning tea with fairy bread, scones, jam and cream.
Ms Tucker (pictured) said the storytime program had been designed to encourage a love of literacy and to help prepare children for school, in addition to giving parents the chance to socialise, network and build support.
She said the 9.30-10.30am sessions helped promote the centre’s cafe, Cafe QB, as a shared community space.
The Quantin Binnah Community Centre is located at 61 Thames Boulevard,
