Crowds flocked to Werribee Park on the weekend for the annual Children’s Week Picnic.

Popular attractions included the toy swap, a ride on the trackless train, and the giant inflatable jungle maze.

Children also participated in cooking classes, sport activities, and built small cities using recycled materials.

Popular performers including the Cat in the Hat, Mudcakes and The Kazoos took to the stage to entertain children, while roaming performers included Tubby the Robot, Gemma Giraffe and the Litter Sisters.

Presented in partnership with Wyndham council and the state government, the event celebrates 25 years since Australia signed the United Nations Convention on the rights of a child.
