Changes to Western Health vaccination sites

Western Health has announced that its COVID-19 vaccination site at Eagle Stadium in Werribee will close today (Sunday, November 28).

However, the drive-through vaccination service at the stadium will operate until December 17.

The vaccination service at St Vincent’s Private Hospital will close on December 2 and the Melbourne Showgrounds site will close on December 5.

A weekly vaccination service will be available at the following sites in Wyndham until mid-December:

• Dianella Community Centre, 6 Congo Drive, Tarneit on November 30, December 7 and December 14 from 10am-4pm.

• Manor Lakes Community Learning Centre, 86 Manor Lakes Boulevard, Manor Lakes on on December 2, 9 and 16 from 11am-4pm.

The West Metro COVID-19 Vaccination Program will continue to work closely with Wyndham council and may activate a larger site if required to facilitate booster doses or doses children aged between five and 11 years old, if this is approved.

Vaccination services, both sit-down and drive-through, will continue to run in Melton and at Sunshine Hospital with reduced cubicles to match reduced demand.

The sites at Melton and Sunshine have the capacity to increase to meet demand for booster doses and also to support the vaccination in the under-12 age group.

First, second, third and booster doses will be available at Western Health’s remaining sites and at participating GPs and pharmacies. Details: www.westernhealth.org.au/
