Carranballac P-9 College’s two Point Cook campuses came together for the first time recently to celebrate a cultural melting pot full of experiences.

Traditional Bollywood and Japanese dancing, sumo wrestling and a soccer match were on the cards when pupils from Carranballac’s Boardwalk and Jamieson Way campuses took part in a range of Cultural Diversity Day activities.

Teacher Megan Dinham said this year, all year levels had been studying the culture of an allocated area, such as India, the Philippines, Japan, Indonesia, China, Pacific Islands, Korea and the United Nations.

Ms Dinham said it was the first time the school has brought together its two campuses onto one site.

The day ended with a whole-college photo.
