“So here we go again!” says Bianca McAuliffe, owner of 12RND Fitness Hoppers Crossing. “We made it through lockdown 2.0 and now we’ve reopened with a bang.”
A lot was happening at the club during lockdown, not least keeping members engaged and supported – and achieving great things. Bianca shares what happened during the enforced hiatus.
“One of our members, Mike, won the state prize for his efforts in our six-week challenge but many others hit their goals while doing Zoom classes,” says Bianca. “As well, our 2-on-1 outdoor personal training sessions were great.
“We give a massive shout-out to our coach, Nate Keti, for his fantastic work keeping everyone motivated and entertained with his upbeat and positive attitude, day in day out, during very difficult times.”
Bianca’s husband and co-owner Matt says they used the lockdown time to enhance their club.
“We didn’t sit idle,” he says. “We worked hard behind the scenes, adding brand-new coaching screens and air-conditioning to enhance the experience for our members once they returned.
“Since re-opening, we’ve had an influx of new members getting on board. It’s been awesome and the vibe in the club is amazing.”
Big things expected for 2021
“We believe,” says Matt, “that if we can build and maintain such a fantastic community in the restricted time we’ve been open in 2020, then we can’t wait to have a clear run at it and show everyone in the municipality what an awesome club we have.
“We would love for people to come in and experience it for themselves.”
