Biggest Morning Tea

The Italian Social Club ladies committee will host its annual Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea event on May 31 from 10am at the Italian Social Club, 601 Heaths Road, Werribee. Enjoy morning tea, raffles and stalls, with all money raised going to the Cancer Council. Tickets are $30.

Senior Drivers Expo

RoadSafe Westgate Community Road Safety Council, in conjunction with the Hobsons Bay, Maribyrnong, Melton and Wyndham councils, will be holding a free Senior Drivers Expo on Saturday, June 16 from 9.30am-2.30pm at Central Park Community Centre, 80 Lonsdale Circuit, Hoppers Crossing. Autumn forum

The Werribee River Association will host its autumn forum on May 31 starting with a free supper at 6.45pm in the auditorium of Wyndham Central College, Shaws Road, Werribee. Take part in planning and hear about the latest happenings, including banning unsafe platypus nets, eDNA research and waterwatch data analysis.

Community group pilates

Come along and enjoy a community group pilates class at Mainview Boulevard Reserve, Mainview Boulevard, Truganina, June 5, 11.30am-12.15pm. Enjoy a class full of fun, fitness, motivation and conversation. The first session is free, subsequent classes are $15. Children welcome.

Friday night life drawing

Come to Saltwater Community Centre, 153 Saltwater Promenade, Point Cook on May 25 from 7.30-10pm for an untutored life drawing class, with a nude model as your muse. All skill levels are welcome. There will be a break for wine, nibbles and a chat. Easels, boards, chairs, and tables are all provided by the studio. Cost is $20.19, and participants must be aged over 18.

Girls on the green

Ladies, head down to Werribee Bowls Club, 239 Watton Street, Werribee, on June 3 from noon-3pm and give lawn bowls a go. You can play with either bare feet or flat shoes. Experienced female bowlers will be on hand to provide the basics and get you onto the green. Cost is $10 for bowls and a barbecue lunch.
